DO I BUY FRY? - Yes,  however it depends on many things. Availability of a quarantine tank, breed and species of fish. I also typically do not pay much. Freshwater Tropical fish is a volume business. I do not get much for each fish therefore I cannot pay much for fish. Generally, I trade fry for food. I buy flakes in bulk. This way everyone gets a better value.

DO I PRE-SELL FISH? - Yes, depending on the fish. Currently I only Pre-Sell my Golden Angelfish. How it works is that arrangements are made with a local retailer. You pay him on delivery. To minimize stress to the fish a preset delivery date is set, usually a Saturday. A two hour window is given. I bring the fish to the retailer bagged and tagged for each individual pre-sale. You pick them up from the retailer within the two hour window. If you miss the window the fish are then placed into the retailers inventory.

DO I BUY LARGE OR MATURE FISH? - While may times I will accept large fish, if I pay for them it is not much. Large fish are hard to sell and break even let alone make any money from. They are also expensive to keep and take up a lot of space that could be used more efficiently for grow out, breeding, or spawning.

I will almost always accept unwanted fish. However that I dependant upon having an available tank.
